ABOUT:
Charles D. Katz is founder and CEO of C D Katz, LLC, and began his independent practice of accounting in 1996. With over 20 years of accounting and taxation experience, C D Katz, LLC, helps you make more, and keep more of what you make.
Mr. Katz began his career in 1990 with Tofias, Fleishman, Shapiro & Co., New England's largest independent accounting firm, specializing in pre-tax review and clean-up of client books and records, preparation of tax returns, and auditing financial statements of myriad business entities. Mr. Katz joined the former Tax & Financial Advisors (now Pillar Financial Advisors) in 1993, assisting high net-worth clients with tax and financial planning.
A former Latin teacher, Mr. Katz seeks to assist clients with a wide range of accounting, tax, and business matters. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, in addition to Masters' degrees in accounting and business administration from Northeastern University. He attained Certified Public Accountant status in 1993. An expert in QuickBooks® software, Mr. Katz has been a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor since 1995.
